Our Team

​

The people who support and work at, or for, Zara’s House are members of an organisation known as Refugees and Partners.

​

Refugees and Partners was constituted in 2015 and began pastoral services in Jesmond in 2016.

​

Our members are passionate about refugees and asylum seekers.

​

Executive members are involved in meetings and planning, others are active with programs at Zara’s House and some contribute financially when they can.

​

It is also important that some members participate in the NETWORKS involved in reception and settlement of refugees into the local area. All members need to keep up to date with Australian immigration issues and to be helpful for those effected by change.
